Partners in Education
PiE Needs Ohlone and Ohlone Needs PiE
Partners in Education ("PiE") is a non-profit organization devoted exclusively to raising money for all PAUSD schools and is the only source of private funds that can pay for additional and much needed PAUSD teachers and staff. PiE dollars are allocated on a per student basis so every child throughout the district benefits equally, with spending determined at each school site.
Results of the 2011-2012 campaign:
- Total Gift to PAUSD for 2012-2013: $4.4 Million
- Elementary Spectra Arts is fully funded by PiE
- Elementary Schools received $2.5 Million
Thanks to all the families who donated, volunteered and otherwise supported the 2011-12 campaign. You have made the difference!
The goal for 2012-2013 campaign (funds to be spent by PAUSD schools in 2013-2014) is $4.75 Million. At Ohlone, we have a strong tradition of high participation among our families. Giving the amount that is meaningful to your family helps our school community demonstrate our commitment to supporting all PAUSD students as well as our Ohlone students.
If you have questions (When did I last donate? When will the next challenge grant be? How can I get involved?), please contact your Ohlone chairs:
