Partners in Education

PiE Needs Ohlone and Ohlone Needs PiE

Partners in Education ("PiE") is a non-profit organization devoted exclusively to raising money for all PAUSD schools and is the only source of private funds that can pay for additional and much needed PAUSD teachers and staff.  PiE dollars are allocated on a per student basis so every child throughout the district benefits equally, with spending determined at each school site.

The district-wide campaign ended this January (2011) with 68% of Ohlone families donating to PiE!

Results of the campaign:

* Total Gift for 2011-2012 - $3.4 Million - a 17% increase from the previous year.
* Elementary Spectra Arts will be fully funded by PiE ($65K)
* Elementary Schools will receive $1.89 Million, a 16% increase from last year

Thanks to all the families who donated, volunteered and otherwise supported the cause. You have made the difference!
